On June 25, 2019, OTOKOCH UKRAINE joined the Federation of Employers of the Automotive Industry of Ukraine, which is part of the Otokoç Otomotiv, founded in 1928 and is one of the oldest and most automotive companies in Turkey in the field of car rental, leasing, transportation and logistics.
Otokoç Otomotiv Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. was established on June 22, 2001, combining six Companies into one legal entity.
In 2005, an agreement was signed on the use of the Avis brand in Turkey to provide car rental services.
In 2007, a license agreement was signed on car rental under the Budget brand in Turkey.
In 2017, OTOKOCH started its activities in Ukraine by creating its own company, Otokoch Ukraine, and has the right to provide car rental services using the TM Budget in Ukraine. Otokoch Ukraine LLC provides car rental, vehicle leasing and transportation services and is the official importer of fuel and lubricants of the OPET trademark. In 2018, Otokoc Otomotive offered its customers car rental and leasing services in 9 countries: Turkey, Azerbaijan, Northern Iraq, Kazakhstan, Hungary, Georgia, Northern Cyprus, Ukraine and Greece.
