Is it possible to save Ukrainian automotive industry?

The current year may become the worst for the Ukrainian automotive industry over the last 15 years. Nine domestic car factories together in August were able to product a little more than 400 cars and buses that is 16 times less than in the crisis year of 2009. Except AvtoKrAZ, all Ukrainian automakers almost completely stopped. 

According to the association Ukravtoprom, in January-August 2014 Ukraine produced 24,816 vehicles, which is 14.7% less than in the same period of 2013. 

The main reasons for the collapse of the auto industry are the economic recession and the devaluation of the hryvnia. Another reason is the loss of markets.
