On September 16, 2014 took place a regular meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, where representatives of the Employers’ Federation of Automotive Industry participated as experts

At he meeting were discussed two important questions on reforming for Regulatory Policy and untapped opportunities for public influence adoption of regulations by using regulatory impact analysis (RIA). 

Proposals to reform the regulatory policy of Ukraine were presented the Director of the Department of Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship Development, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine - Sheverdin I. In preparing of the strategy deregulation of Ukraine also participated freelance consultants. 

In developing the Strategy deregulation expert group reduced the number of regulatory restrictions to 800 based on the analysis of economic activity 6 sectors of the economy. Further, the expert group on the basis of simple selection criteria - economic efficiency and ease of implementation - has identified 200 priority constraints that will be included in the Action Plan of the deregulation of economic activity and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. 

Currently, the Employers' Federation of Automotive Industry is committed to the fact that the interests of the automotive industry have been taken into account in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine conducted by reforming the system of regulatory policy for the companies of automobile industry had equal rights and opportunities in comparison with other sectors of the economy.
