Seat leaves the Russian market

The Spanish company Seat stops selling cars in Russia from January 1, 2015. The main reasons for such a decision is the decline in demand for cheap cars and a sharp devaluation of the ruble.

According to the publication of "Kommersant", citing its own sources in the "Volkswagen Group Rus", the company has already begun to reduce its dealer network and staff. However, Seat pomised to perform all obligations to dealers, customers and employees. In addition, the remaining stocks of cars will be sold at a discount.

Seat became the second company, which has decided to leave Russia this year. In August American brand Dodge has left Russia.
