Russian Automotive Market in January-August 2013

According to ASM-Holding, in August 2013 the automotive market of Russia continued to accelerate its decline which lasted 6 month in a row and was caused by the slowdown of the economic development of the country. The total sales volume of all types of vehicles in the period from January till August 2013 has been reduced by 13.1% to 1,934.9 thousand units in comparison with the same period of the previous year.
