Russian car market in February fell by 38 percent

Russian car market by the end of February fell to 37.9 percent. For the second month in 2015, the country has sold 128 thousand 298 new cars. From the beginning, the market fell by 32.1 percent. Relevant data resulted in the report by "European Business Association."

In the top ten most successful automakers only two companies managed to show a positive result - Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Sales of the first company increased by 18 percent (up to 4 thousand 151 units), and the second - six percent (up to 3 thousand 550 units).

Lada Granta family regained the lead in the list of the most popular models in Russia. In February it sold 10 000 583 "Grants", which is less than 697 vehicles compared with the result of the second month of 2014. Leader in January - Family Hyundai Solaris - with the result of 8000 was the second one car. The top five at the end of the month came SUV Lada 4x4. In January, the model took sixth place.
