Cabinet will change the tax for the first registration of cars to environmental tax

As already reported AUTO-Consulting, the Cabinet of Ministers introduced to the Verkhovna Rada a bill №5079 "On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine and laws of Ukraine (regarding the tax reform)". Within the framework of the so-called reform ministers decided to abolish the fee for the first registration, but do not lose revenue that came from it in the budget. 

In the original version, it was assumed that the fee simply add to the amount of the excise tax on automobiles. However, as already mentioned AUTO-Consulting, in this embodiment, there was a danger of paralyzing the entire civilized market cars. Then the government decided to make tax reform in another way, instead of the fee for the first registration of cars appeared some environmental tax. 

For new cars it is not essential. But for used transport there are also increasing factors: 2 for cars up to 8 years and 40 on cars older than 8 years. In fact, there won't be a lot of changes, the price of cars will not grow.
