Japan claims against Ukraine

As a result of a specific investigation and in order to protect domestic automakers, Ukraine, according to the decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade, took protective measures against import of cars, regardless of origin country, and export for two UKT FEA commodity codes.

In response to this decision, Japan filed a request for consultations through the mechanisms of the WTO to settle the dispute. Later the European Union and Russia joined this request.
