Worse than ever? Ukrainian car market continues falling

Thus, according to AUTO-Consulting, looks the of top ten brands: Geely (sold 6673 car), Toyota (5119), ZAZ (5046), Skoda (3035), Hyundai (3015), Volkswagen (2646), Renault (2609), Nissan (2571), Ford (2377) and Kia (2247). 

In just six months of 2014 Ukrainians have bought a little more than 55 thousand new passenger cars. This is 44% less than the results of the previous year. But even though the dynamics of quarter ago and was negative, but not as dismal: in the first three months, the market declined by only 16% compared to the same period of 2013. 

Domestic car makers suffer losses too. Of the country's auto plants up to six months to increase production only KrASZ and ZAZ - by 353.6% and 28.5% respectively. Zaporizhzhya in six months released, according to the association Ukravtoprom, 10622 passenger cars against 8226 in the previous year, and Kremenchug - 7349 cars against 1620 others. "Bogdan" reduced production of cars by 27.2% (from 2748 units in the first six months of 2013 to 1999), and "Eurocar" - by 37% from 4112 to 2591 cars.
