Fiat Chrysler will place 87 million shares

Italian-American automaker Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV will place 87 million shares at $ 11 per security, the company said. At the close of trading in New York on Wednesday, the value of securities was $ 11.47 automaker.

Underwriter of securities will have an option to purchase an additional 13,000,000 ordinary shares of Fiat Chrysler, the company said.

In addition, the automaker intends to place convertible bonds by $ 2.5 billion. The bonds with an annual coupon of 7.88% will be converted into shares of Fiat Chrysler in December 2016.
