Will the cars become cheaper soon? Traders' opinion

According to approximate calculations, AUTO-Consulting, after the abolition of special duties and additional import charges, the cost of an average car in Ukraine may be reduced by more than 40 thousand UAH. However, importers and dealers think differently.

Director of the Department of Mazda company "Auto International" Yulia Sivak said that we should not forget that the fee applies only to the imported gasoline cars, with an engine of less than 2.2 liters, and the amount of these cars is about 35% . 

Regarding the news about lowering taxes, "Toyota Ukraine" believe that these changes are likely to be waited by few (only those who did not accumulate in UAH, and who will need cars by 0.5-1 years). Devaluation / revaluation is much stronger effect on demand than promises to reduce some taxes.
