UK scientists create battery that may dramatically boost range of EVs

UK scientists have created a lithium oxygen battery that could eventually replace lithium ion batteries in electric cars, giving them a much longer range between charges. Compared to lithium-ion battery they are lighter in 5 times and store them in 10 times more energy.
