The government is ready to help foreign automobile localized production in Russia. In summer Ministry of Economy can make the formula that determines the level of localization coefficient taking into account fluctuations in the ruble exchange rate. Because of the sharp devaluation of the national currency several automakers faced with the fact that their level of localization has fallen markedly, because of that they may lose their right to duty-free import of car components. According to "Kommersant", the car industry is asked to make such changes at the end of 2014, but the government has begun to consider changes only after the Russian market in March has left the first major automaker - American GM.
