Auto imports to Ukraine dropped by 60%

Import of vehicles (new and those that were in use) to Ukraine in 2014 reached 146.5 thousand units, customs value of which exceeded $ 1.6 billion, informed Association "Ukrautoprom".

According to the report of Association, the number of imported vehicles fell by more than half compared to 2013 year. 

The total imports in 2014 decreased by 28% over previous year.

Most cars were imported to Ukraine from Japan - 11.751 thousand. Germany is on the second place with 6.165 thousand imported cars. The third place got Korea with 5.507 thousand imported cars.
