April 16, 2015 - Chairman of the Employers' Federation of Automotive Industry of Ukraine took part in the National Tripartite Social and Economic Council, which for the first time in the last 6 years has also attended Prime Minister of Ukraine.
Every tenth employee in Ukraine today could potentially lose their jobs due to the drop in production.
"The share of employment in industry over the last 15 years continues to decline more rapidly than the number of employed in the economy as a whole. If a year ago the number of workers in industry was nearly 3 million, today this figure barely exceeds 2 million," - said Employers' Federation of Automotive Industry of Ukraine, Chairman of the "Atoll Holding" Oleh Boyaryn.
Prime Minister of Ukraine A.Yatsenyuk noted that social standards can raise only when economy and industry work fully.
For their part, Employers' Federation of Ukraine gave the Prime Minister developed draft of the Concept of industrial modernization Ukraine till 2020 and measures to halt the economic downturn and job retention in 2015-2016.
