AIS Group decided to suspend production at the Kremenchug car assembly plant starting from 1st August in connection with the collapse of the market and the termination of support of domestic enterprises.
According to Marketing Director of AIS Group Sergey Borovik, the collapse in demand in the automotive market more than doubled, the lack of support for domestic auto manufacturers led to the difficult situation in the national automotive industry.
For the first six months of this year Kremenchug plant has produced more than 7.3 thousand cars. In connection with a stop car assembly plant team will be reduced twice. The remaining people will work on the refurbishment of vehicles: installing add-on cars in case of such orders.
