American supercar will be produced in England

A few years ago it was announced the reopening of the American brand Detroit Electric. It was planned to create new work places in Detroit, but the situation has changed. 

At first it was announced that first model Detroit Electric - SP:01 will be produced in the Netherlands. Now production will transfer to the UK. Such a decision possibly was made due to the fact that the basis for a new car is a sports car Lotus Elise.
