Ukraine twice reduced the special duty on imports of cars

The rates of special import duties on cars in Ukraine on April 14, 2015 decreased by half - by 2.15% for cars with engine capacity of 1-1.5 and by 4.32% for cars with engine 1.5-2,2 liters.

The rates were reduced by a decision of the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade liberalization safeguard measures on imports into Ukraine cars regardless of country of origin and export, published March 28, 2014, reports UNIAN.

According to a document dated April 14, 2014 cars with petrol engines of 1-1.5 liters special duty rate was set at 4.31% and from 14 April 2015 - twice less - 2.15% .

On cars with petrol engines of 1,5-2,2 liters on April 14, 2014 rate was 8.63%, and from 14 April 2015 - 4.32%.
