Ukraine and Japan will sign investment agreement

Agreement on the Promotion and Protection of Investments will be signed by the governments of Japan and Ukraine.

It was reported by Kyodo News, citing Foreign Minister Fumio Kishidu, reports Vedomosti.

Kishida appreciated Ukraine as "potentially promising big market", but said that Tokyo is concerned about the conflict that grows in the east of the country.

Tokyo earlier expressed readiness to assist the modernization of the Ukrainian energy, including the efficiency of thermal power plants using coal.
