The Association Agreement with Ukraine will be implemented in two phases - the Council of the EU

According to the EU Delegation in Ukraine, in connection with the decision of the EU Council on the changes in the schedule of provisional application of parts of the Association Agreement with Ukraine, the application of the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine will be carried out in two stages. 

According to the report, the EU Council amended the schedule of provisional application of parts of the Association Agreement, following consultations with the Ukrainian side "and as part of overall efforts towards an inclusive peace process in Ukraine". In parallel, was presented the proposal to extend the EU autonomous trade preferences for Ukraine until December 31, 2015.
