Electric taxi will appear in Kyiv

Kiev company "BIO Automotive" presented a draft of the electric taxis for city. Its main feature is to build charging stations based on the city's subway: electricity will flow through cables through underground vents. From such a source, a car can be recharged in 20 minutes. 

It is planned to use auto brand BYD for electrotaxi produced in Hong Kong. These cars are equipped with asynchronous motors and lithium batteries. Also it is planned to produce electrobuses.
