Toyota introduced a new global modular chassis called Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA). The Japanese say that by 2020, this architecture will form the basis of half models of producer. A new chassis would "significantly improve the driving characteristics" of machines due to the low center of gravity, as well as through the use of compact and lightweight components. The structure of TNGA will be at 30-65 percent stronger than the design used in today's vehicles.
Seat frame can be installed on five different levels, which will be built on the basis of the new "cars completely different classes - from subcompact cars - to large SUV's." But based architecture TNGA can produce models with both front and rear-wheel drive.
