Toyota Corporation in the I half remained leader of the world car market, ahead of Volkswagen and General Motors. From January to June, the Japanese automaker sold 5.09 million vehicles, up almost 4% higher than the same period in 2013, reported AP.
Toyota sales increased in the domestic market as well as in Asia, U.S. and Europe. In particular, sales of the brand in China increased by 12% in North America - by 5% in Europe - by 8%.
