The World Bank can block projects in Russia

The "big seven" oppose the approval of new projects by the World Bank in Russia, reported by Bloomberg.

Decision was made by deputy finance ministers of G7 during a call conference last week. 

Currently, the World Bank considers nine projects in Russia for a total of 1.34 billion dollars, said the agency. Among them - the projects in the field of pre-school education and improving energy efficiency.
