Sales grew in the European car market

According to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), in May sales in the auto market in Europe grew by 4.5%. Leadership remains Volkswagen group, which has improved the results by 9.6%. 

Car sales increased in all European countries. Spain has the highest rate with 16.3%. However, Germany's largest auto market where it was sold 274.8 thousand cars. Next in the ranking are United Kingdom, France and Italy. 

It should also be noted that several brands have been leaders in number of registered cars. They are Volkswagen, Audi, Seat and Skoda. A GM Group sales in Europe dropped by 6.8%.
