Volume of imported cars in Ukraine fell by 23%

The volume of foreign trade of passenger cars in Ukraine for the first half showed the worst result in 15 years.

In the first half of Ukrainian importers spent $ 355.2 million for the purchase of 26,449 cars. As a result, the volume of imports of this type of vehicles in Ukraine decreased by 23% compared to the same period last year.

The share of new cars in imports was 64%, which means a reduction of the new cars in total imports by 30 percentage points compared to the previous year.
