Nissan Motors is considering car production in Iran

Japanese automakers have expressed interest in the Iranian market. Nissan Motors Company started negotiations on car producation in local factories. Nissan Motors is negotiating with suppliers of components about the possibility of production. 

Masoumeh Ebtekar, a Vice President of Iran and head of Environmental Protection Organization, earlier calls for Japanese manufacturers of hybrid cars and electric vehicles to develop production in Iran, which opens the possibility of exporting to the Middle East and African markets.
