Country's need for additional financing will consider the Fund's mission after the parliamentary elections on October 26.
The IMF believes that the salvation of the Ukrainian economy will need more money. This was stated in Washington, DC (United States) by Paul Thomsen, Acting Director of the European Department of the Fund. Transcript of his speech of October 10 appeared on the IMF website.
According to him, the IMF mission will be in Ukraine after the parliamentary elections on October 26 to assess the progress of the program.
The total amount of funding from the IMF, the World Bank and a number of countries to help Ukraine with loans is to reach $ 30 billion dollars.
