Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has prepared an updated macroeconomic forecast of development of Ukraine for 2015-2017 years.
According to the latest version prepared by the ministry, "the forecast of economic and social development of Ukraine for 2015", the text of which is available for ZN.UA, under the pessimistic scenario of economic development, according to the results of Ukraine's GDP in 2015 will reach1.7575 billion hryvnia; according to the optimistic scenario - 1821,1 billion hryvnia.
Rising inflation (consumer price index) will be, respectively, 8.7% or 9.8% (December to December); unemployment rate - 10.2% and 9.8% at the pessimistic and optimistic scenarios, respectively.
In 2016, Ukraine's GDP is projected by ministry to grow by 2.5% or 4.5% (pessimistic and optimistic scenario); in 2017 economic growth will accelerate to 3% or 4.5%, respectively.
At the same time, in 2017, the size of the economy of Ukraine clearly will cross the threshold of 2 trillion hryvnia, reaching 2137,3 billion hryvnia or 2366,8 billion respectively.
