Lifan plans to build a plant in Russia

Chinese automaker Lifan plans to build in Lipetsk region full-cycle plant, giving it about 300 million dollars. The company will be located at the site of a special economic zone "Lipetsk". Corresponding agreement between Lifan Industry and Government of Lipetsk region has already been signed. 

The original design capacity of the plant will be 60,000 cars a year, it will employ about 1,500 workers and specialists. It is planned to produce the whole range of Chinese brand with welding and paint finishes. 

Vehicles produced in Lipetsk region are expected to be sold not only in Russia but also in other countries.
