Cabinet establishes Institute of Trade Representative of Ukraine

The Government of Ukraine will decide on establishing of the Institute of Trade Representative of Ukraine, reported the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yatsenyuk at the government meeting on Wednesday, August 20. 

Yatsenyuk noted that before the development of this decision the Government in particular has studied the experience of the United States' Trade Representative Office which is one of the key elements of foreign policy": "that's why Trade Representative of Ukraine is a key driving force to promote the Ukrainian producers in the world and protect Ukrainian economic interest".

The Prime Minister also said that Ukraine has moved into the second stage of preparation for visa liberalization with the EU and said that at today's meeting will be approved by the Government "Action Plan on visa-free regime".
