The European car market continues to grow

According to ACEA the first five months of this year, sales growth reached 6.8%, and in May it increased by 1.3% compared to the same period last year. In May there were registered 1109893 new cars in Europe which is 1.3% more than in May last year. Thus for 21 consecutive months in EU countries there was observed the positive dynamics of the market.

In total for the first five months in Europe there was sold 5805367 new passenger cars (+ 6.8%). In total from January to May the registration of new cars increased in Spain (+ 21.7%), Italy (+ 15.2%), the UK (+ 5.7%), France (+ 3.8%) and Germany (+ 3.6%).
