The EU has become a major trading partner of Ukraine

By the end of 2014 the EU became a major trading partner of Ukraine both in exports and imports of goods.

It was stated in the summary data illustrated at the end of 2014, which were distributed to the State Customs Service on January 16.

In 2013 Ukraine had the largest volume of trade carried out with the CIS countries - 36%. The following trading partners were the EU countries - 31%, and Asia - 23%.

In 2014, the turnover of Ukraine redistributed. The first place was taken by the EU countries - 35.5%, the second place with 29% - CIS countries. The share of Asia was 24%.

EU countries took first place in the structure of exports and imports.
