Great Wall began construction of automobile factory in Tula region with the cost $ 500 million

A subsidiary of the Chinese company Great Wall Motors Ltd. "Haveyl Motor Manufacturing Rus" started construction of a car factory, reported the press service of Tula region. Investment in the project is estimated at $ 500 million. 2.5 thousand persons will work in the company.

The ceremony of laying the first stone in the construction of a car factory brand Haval took place on Monday at the industrial park "Uzlovaya". 

Previously, "Haveyl Motor Manufacturing Rus" has acquired the ownership of 216 acres in the industrial park "Uzlovaya". Construction of the plant is planned in two stages. Industrial output of the first phase, which will end in 2017 - 80 thousand cars per year. After completion of the second phase in 2020, the production capacity will reach 150 thousand cars per year.
