Long-awaited changes in the field of technical regulations

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading the draft Law of Ukraine "On Technical Regulations and Conformity Assessment" №4954 on 29/05/2014 p. 

The author tried to settle: 

• introduction filing reports drafted technical regulations; 
• publication of texts of draft technical regulations to the final stage of their development, which meets the requirements of the WTO Agreements; 
• introduction of requirements for the development of technical regulations, identical requirements for the development of similar acts of the European Union and others. 

It is expected that the adoption of this law will consolidate in a single document rule of development, adoption and application of technical regulations that are in WTO agreements and European regulations.
