Auto industry and car market in China - Results 7 months

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in July of this year, production of passenger cars in China totaled 1 million 473 thousand and sales of passenger cars - 1 million 358 thousand. Thus falling production results to the previous month was 7,9% and drop in sales - 13.2%. At the same time, compared with the results of July last year it's been a rise of 13.4% and 9.7%, respectively. 

In total, for the period January-July 2014, car production in China reached 11 million 181 thousand which is 12.2% more than at the same period last year. 

During the same period, sales of passenger cars reached a record 10 million 992 thousand, which is 11% more than the seven-month result of last year.
