In March car sales in Europe amounted 1.6 million vehicles, which is 10.6% more than in the same period last year. Sales growth recorded for 19 consecutive month, according to the website of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA).
A positive result was recorded in most EU countries, including Spain (+ 40.5%), Italy (15.1%), France (9.3%), Germany (9%) and the UK (+ 6%).
In the first three months of this year, car sales in Europe amounted to 3.53 million units which is 8.6% more than in the same period a year earlier.
