The Russian government will reimburse part of the cost of interest on loans to domestic automakers this year. It was reported in the press service of the Cabinet of Russia. The corresponding document was signed by the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitriy Medvedev.
This decision will support the Russian automakers planning as part of its investment activities in the current year to attract up to 73 billion rubles of credit, said in the document. The federal budget provides for these purposes 5.306 billion rubles in 2014, 6.875 billion rubles in 2015, 5.2 billion rubles in 2016 and 4.744 billion rubles in 2017.
