Audi is developing a new version of the all wheel drive quattro, the rear axle which is driven by an electric motor. The first model, which will be a novelty to become a family of new generation A4. The new development is a hybrid propulsion system, which consists of an internal combustion engine and two electric motors. One single unit is assembled with the gearbox, and the second will rotate the rear wheel.
